1. Answers staff questions in person and via phone or e-mail on all agency applications within 24 hours of request.
2. Troubleshoots Software and Hardware problems personally or through vendors.
3. Maintain LAN/WAN connectivity through maintenance and troubleshooting of routers, switches, hubs and network cards and printers.
4. Determines source of desktop computer problems (hardware, software, user access, user error, etc.).
5. Advises staff on appropriate action(s) in a user friendly and timely manner.
6. Performs preventive and regular maintenance tasks related to desktop computer performance in a multi-site agency.
7. Ensures data security; manages anti-virus and anti-spam protection software and treatment when applicable.
8. Disseminates appropriate and user friendly IT information to staff.
9. Rebuild servers and workstations when necessary.
Location: Staten Island
Compensation: Work 15-20 hours per week at $20 per hour- No Benefits
